Jerry Holifield is the Superintendent of Schools in Plainfield and a
member of St. Luke's. He
didn't take any of the money from the church but the project inspired him to
personally raise some money to give to students and ask them to Pay it Forward.
Earlier this month, he met with 80 students from
the Fellowship of Christian Athletes group, showed them the Pay It Forward movie
clip, and then gave them each $20 and asked them to go out and do something good
for the world with it.
